Get Involved Today Our story Who We Are Africa Humanitarian Action AHA is a leading international nongovernmental organization dedicated to providing effective humanitarian relief recovery and advocacy services. Founded in 1994 in response to the harrowing atrocities in Rwanda AHA has been at the forefront of humanitarian efforts across the African continent. Over the past three decades the organization has supported over 25 million people in 20 African countries helping them regain their health dignity and wellbeing. AHAs unwavering commitment to humanitarian principles coupled with its deep understanding of the unique challenges facing African communities has enabled it to deliver essential aid to those in need and make a lasting impact on countless lives.
