Acts Retirement-Life Communities owns and manages 28 senior living communities in 9 states serving more than 10,500 residents. The IRC is a community association of residents of a long term Life Care Retirement community, made up of 3 stages of living: Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Care. Residents are largely 75+ years of age and is operated by volunteers. It has no professional staff or assistance. It functions as a communicating vehicle representing resident's interest within the community.
