Horse Haven Montana is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit equine rescue, adoption & education organization. We wo Education and Understanding to Enhance the Equine/Human Bond and to Improve the Welfare of the Horse.  We accomplish this mission through rescue of horses in need, foster care and/or other forms of assistance. Our overarching goal is to place horses in permanent, responsible, knowledgeable and caring adoptive homes once a pre-approval adoption process has been completed and the individual or family has been approved for adoption. We also support, host and coordinate education events that promote the welfare and well being of horses and other equines. In addition, we provide educational resources and referrals for additional and alternative kinds of support. Our primary goal is to find permanent homes for horses in need with responsible, educated, committed human caretakers.
