About Delaware Valley School DVSEC is a nonprofit private school for special education students who have experienced difficulty adjusting to the educational demands of a traditional publicschool setting. Our dedicated staff is committed to implementing welldeveloped educational strategies that are geared towards assisting each student reach their respective academic social and emotional potential. Our school philosophy is predicated on William Glassers Reality Therapy wherein students utilize Choice theory and develop their internal locus of control. Accordingly our guiding principle is to motivate students to readily apply their individual talents so that they may experience a consistent level of success throughout their educational career.
