The Louis Calder Foundation invests in organizations that seek to provide highquality learning opportunities for children in underresourced communities. We envision a nation where every child has the opportunity to obtain an excellent education enabling them to walk a path to independence and success of their own choosing. The Foundation practices proactive philanthropy and invites organizations to submit requests for funding. We regularly identify and cultivate relationships with nonprofit organizations education leaders schools and other foundations with programs and initiatives that complement our strategies.
