This week HVA Paramedics Jerry and Scott were recognized alongside firefighters from the Wixom Fire Department at the Oakland County Medical Control Authority meeting. The responders were acknowledged for exceptional response and patient care after cardiac arrest. Thanks to their quick and coordinated response, the patient was breathing on their own before arriving at the hospital and has made a strong recovery. Congratulations to all of you on your life-saving care and thank you for the work you do each day! Jerry and Scott, we are thankful to have you on the HVA team. (fb)
