With just a couple of weeks left before Of Wings and Feet comes down on June 21st, we’re celebrating all things puppet in the gallery and the Shop! Our puppets have been dancing, twirling, and showing off all exhibition long—and they’re not stopping now. ✨ In the Shop, we’re spotlighting some incredible puppet-inspired artists: Rebecca Miles has been crafting for over 20 years, making colorful creations from puppets to purses, jewelry to jackets. Her hand and finger puppets are perfect for low-tech, zany play—each one cut without a pattern, letting each unique character emerge on its own. Made from polyester fleece and completely machine washable, they’re designed for play. 🎨 Kelly Taylor, a Guilford College alum and active Triad artist, brings rescued vintage treasures into her still life paintings—many featuring whimsical scenes of sock monkeys out on playful adventures, from banana splits to movie nights. 🎭In the gallery, Jeghetto will be having an artist talk Saturday, June 7th, from 2:00–4:00 PM! Join us for a special workshop, a live puppet performance, and an artist talk at 3:30 PM. Don’t miss this powerful and playful experience!
