Early this morning, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would cut nearly a trillion dollars from healthcare—including the largest cuts to Medicaid in history -- in order to pay for tax cuts for wealthy Americans and corporations. Now, the bill moves on to the Senate for further debate. These dangerous and rushed cuts would mean terminating healthcare for more than 600,000 Pennsylvanians and doubling health insurance premiums for many more. This includes people fighting serious illnesses like cancer and diabetes, hardworking families, seniors in nursing homes, children, veterans, and people with disabilities.
