2nd half of Wednesday visits were to see 2 of the original SOHI ladies who have physical ailments that do not allow them to come to meetings anymore. Esther has had partial healing in her legs was able to greet us on her crutches. She is being taken care of by her sister-in-law, daughter and son in her home. Esther was a knitter and tailor. We shared sweet memories and prayers. Teddy was our 2nd visit. Her legs are also lame and eyesight is going away. But her smile lit up the room and a sweet Spirit rested in her place. Kampala field visits ~ Wednesday First visit with Gladys and her beginnings of her hair salon at home. She is dreaming of having her own shop very soon. Second visit with Dorcas who has been busy doing tailoring work, making peanut butter, and selling beans. Lots to celebrate with her today. Third visit, Ida who has invested in another machine and is teaching her daughter. She is slowly gaining clients, working out of her home. Fourth field visit with Harriet, who is also our office cleaner, a night time guard and tailor from home. Last visit is with Lucky who has made a shift from Nuguru to a new location. She has set up shop for tailoring on her veranda. She cooks local foods in the mornings to sell at a stand outside her home.
