Our middle school state athletes had a great day of racing! -Girls 100 hurdles: Kaliya Dawley took 18th place out of 38 hurdlers with a 17.14. -Girls 1600 meters: Sydney Bush ran a personal best of 5:26, earning 23rd place out of 38 runners. In doing so, she took 10 seconds off her best time. -Girls 200 hurdles: Kaliya Dawley took 7th place out of 26 hurdlers with a 30.57, while also earning a personal best! -Girls 800 meters: Sydney Bush took 19th place out of 36 runners with a 2:29.41. -Boys 800 meters: Jack Chasteen took 26th out of 39 runners, also earning a new PR of 2:11.28. -Girls 4x400: Kaliya, Cora, Lily, and Sydney took 22nd place out of 26 girls teams and earned a PR of 4:30.93. -Boys DMR: Jack, Will, Blake, and Boaz earned 8th place out of 15 teams with a time of 12:37.28!
