NOHVCC Board of Directors Update – 2025 Annual Conference During the 2025 NOHVCC Annual Conference, the Board of Directors convened on Wednesday, October 8, to discuss a range of organizational matters, including the current structure of the Board itself. Historically, NOHVCC operated with Issue Area Representatives (IARs), divided into five categories: Clubs and Associations, Youth and Education, Public Lands, Private Lands, and Network Development. In recent years, however, the IAR system has been used infrequently. After discussion, the Board agreed that future Board members should continue to bring expertise in these areas but would now serve as Members at Large rather than designated IARs. 2025 NOHVCC Mobile Workshop: A Scenic Success in Oregon On October 9, 2025, more than 70 participants gathered for the highly anticipated annual Mobile Workshop held during the NOHVCC Conference. This year, the conference committee introduced an exciting new format designed with attendees in mind—allowing everyone to enjoy breakfast at their starting locations. This thoughtful change gave participants a chance to sleep in after travel days and kick off the event with a relaxed morning in a beautiful setting. The workshop was split into two groups. Half of the participants began their day at Octane Adventure Rentals in Sisters, Oregon, while the other half started at the Hoodoo Recreation Site at Santiam Pass. From there, attendees embarked on a scenic 30-mile OHV ride between the two locations, taking in some of Oregon’s most breathtaking landscapes.
