There is so much to be learned from Pickleball. I don't play PB, but everyttime I show up to even watch I am welcomed and low key recruited. If your badminton club is all members, everyone knows each other. If it is a member and drop in club, maybe each play session have a designated 'greeter' who is tasked with integrating newbies into play. My recent experience as a multiple times drop in at a club new to me was discouraging for me and for badminton. Again, much to be learned from the Pickleball culture. (fb)
