But for Leah, it’s where she makes the biggest difference. Based in Broome, Leah has been a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse since 2024. The grounds of the Swans Football and Netball Club in Griffith were a sea of pink - cupcakes, footballs, tutus and ribbons - to celebrate the life of one of their much-loved community members. But this wasn’t just about colour; it was all heart. 🩷 The town came together to celebrate the life of Alecia Webb, a beloved preschool teacher and community member, who passed away from breast cancer earlier this year. In an incredible show of support, the Griffith community raised $18,860.75 to help ensure no one misses out on care. Alecia was supported throughout her journey by McGrath Cancer Care Nurse Fiona, and would often say, “Without the support of people like Fiona, where would we be?
