We had a beautiful evening for our Sustainable Creatives Meetup at South Shore Beer Garden... Weather like this won't be around for much longer, but this group is just getting started. We're already working on the details of our next meetup, in October, and we hope we'll see you there! Update from Estabrook Falls: After the recent heavy rains and flooding paused construction, work on the fish passage is back on track — though about 3 weeks behind schedule. Crews have been working to shore up the cofferdam (the temporary barrier made of rock-filled bags that keeps part of the riverbed dry) so they can safely work on the east side of the river. Next steps include testing methods to remove rock from the site! (fb)
