The Be More Foundation

We empower the BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities by removing barriers to impactful institutional resources that advance equity and encourage overall wellbeing. We empower Black & Brown LGBTQ+ youth by encouraging self-advocacy and radical self-care. The Be More Foundation’s mission is to empower the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities by removing barriers to impactful institutional resources that advance equity and encourage social-emotional wellbeing. Our primary goal is to maintain safe spaces where the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities are centered, youth especially, as they examine social systems, learn life skills, and heal from trauma. Our vision is a community in which BIPOC and LBGTQ+ people get the support and resources they need to thrive.

HOME OUR STORY SERVICES BE MORE BAKES CONTACT More BE MORE Empowering Black Brown LGBTQ youth by encouraging selfadvocacy and radical selfcare. ABOUT BE MORE The Be More Foundation is a nonprofit organization that empowers the BIPOC Black Indigenous people of color LGBTQ communities by removing barriers to resources and opportunities that encourage overall wellbeing. We choose to focus on this group because they statistically experience the worst outcomes in almost every socioeconomic way. Research shows that LBGTQ folk are more likely to experience violence discrimination in housing as well as in the workplace compared to both their nonLGBTQ peers and their white LGBTQ peers.
