My sweet, beautiful, and endlessly talented friend Sasha became an angel today, though she’s always been one here on earth. She was light and grace in human form: wise beyond her years, brave in ways that left me in awe, and full of a will to live that could move mountains. Sasha faced everything with strength and poise, and somehow still found room to share laughter, love, and music with everyone around her. She inspired me more than words can say, and I feel so deeply honored that I got to make her very own bedazzled guitar, something as bright and one-of-a-kind as she was. Keep singing, sweet girl.
