This week we learned our JC Parks lifeguards received Five Stars on their most recent StarGuard Elite audit! 🎉 “This Five Star Audit from StarGuard Elite represents the highest level of achievement in aquatic safety, recognizing excellence in lifeguard performance, emergency response skills, operational practices, and documentation, all evaluated during an unannounced inspection,” shared our Department Director, Aaron Grefrath. He continued, “This prestigious rating reflects the dedication and preparedness of our aquatics team. As Director of JC Parks, I am incredibly proud of our staff’s unwavering commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all who visit our aquatic facilities. Parks on Tap at Last Flight Brewing Company was such a treat! We tapped our Bike-Centennial Radler collab, saw those commemorative t-shirts out in the wild, and spent the evening connecting with community members and city leaders. It was all part of celebrating how we "Build Together, Play Together" for National Park & Recreation Month. Those Guys rocked the lawn, Adrienne Luther added the finishing touches to a new public art piece for Capital Region Amphitheater, The Pull Up served up supper, AND a group of cyclists braved the heat to ride our "McKay and Beyond" route on their own.
