Yesterday at Millington First, Pastor Derek reminded us of one of the greatest promises in Scripture: you can know for certain that you are saved. John writes, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13) Salvation is not something we have to wonder about or hope for, it’s something we can be confident in through Jesus Christ. The devil may try to bring doubt, but God’s Word gives assurance: ✅ Eternal life is a gift, not something we can earn. ✅ It is found only in Jesus, the Son of God. ✅ He who has the Son has life! (1 John 5:12) If you’re walking in doubt today, let this be your encouragement: look to Jesus. Your assurance is not in what you’ve done, but in what He has already accomplished on the cross.
