Did we say that spring is a busy time? We're now getting ready for our Spring Plant Exchange which will be held NEXT Saturday, May 31st at Rotary Park (Lewis St and Ludington Ave). Checkout the flyer below. This event is open to the public. (fb)
May is a busy month for all gardeners. The Mason County Garden Club is no exception. Chris Schulte gathered her committee (and several others) and we spent yesterday afternoon getting all of the Downtown Planters ready for distribution to the city's main avenues. The City DPW will place them and then water them throughout the season. The City provides the pots and plants and the Garden Club provides the labor for planting. Enjoy them in their Downtown setting! P.S. Thanks to Julie Tews' husband Doug for drilling all the drainage holes. Many of the pots were water logged. Yikes! (fb)
