As you may remember, back in November of 2024, we were fundraising to build the last of the family style houses that our current village site needs. And the response from all of you was AMAZING! We were blown away by the commitment, generosity, and love that came pouring in when we explained what was needed to get these houses built. And today, we want to send a very special update, as well as a HUGE thank you, to everyone who made these beautiful new houses possible. We had an an incredible crew of volunteer builders from Australia, who made it possible these houses so much more achievable, by donating their labor. Our hearts are full of the most profound gratitude to this crew of kind, generous, and patient men. They built the new houses, they worked on our existing houses and improved them, and they helped our children participate in the building of their own homes. Our children will remember this experience for the rest of their lives, and for this, we want to thank the Australia crew, and their "Sparkies", for their wonderful contribution to Uryadi's Village and our children. We also want to thank everyone who donated to make the purchasing of all the materials possible. Every single dollar that was donated made this reality, this step towards a brighter future, possible. Thank you to everyone reading this for making our village a reality, each and every day. And finally, we want to send a very special thank you to Peter and Peggy Horvitz, for their generous gift to Uryadi's Village. In honor of their ongoing love and support for our children, for our vision, and our mission, we asked them to name the house they made possible. Peggy was also instrumental in connecting Jennifer with Uryadi, the village's namesake, and the horse who helped Jennifer reach the level of competition that she was able to reach, and who also helped make this entire project possible. They chose the name Equus House. Today, we want to send them our warmest thanks. Their support has been unfailing for many years, and they are a very important part of what has kept our hearts full, encouraged, and inspired. Peter and Peggy, thank you for being part of our village. You are helping to change lives every single day. Thank you for your choice to be part of this work, to be part of ensuring that our children have a bright and hopeful future.
