Sunday is the first Day of the week, everywhere else in the world except America. I headed out east to see if my recollections of #Collect held true from this spring and early Summer? I LOVE this place, inclusive, funky and always filled with wonderful people coming and going, kids and dogs to! One of the main reasons I like to ride out this way from #Palmerpark is that I get a chance to ride down St. Paul and St. Agnes streets, arguably 2 of the best streets for riding in the entire city! So much history and micro worlds one after another. If I had a chance to do it all over again, East Village is the place to be if you want to live in the city. From there I made my way West to the city’s BEST micro #Breweryfaisan where Rachel was out on the back patio relaxing with her running friends from earlier in the morning. I sat on the east patio watching the quaking Aspens and enjoying silence and sounds of nature. From there I headed north through empty streets, as “Complete-of-a-Street” as it gets. I spun around near Milwaukee and had to stop to take a sit on the back patio of the #Keisling taking a break from the sweaty fall heat and enjoy the vibe they continue to create. It was my goal to make it back down near the Belle Isle Bridge late next month. I was feeling great and got it done yesterday. Thankful that the #kiesling opened up its outside patio for me to stay dry and miss the rain! #bikedetroit (fb)
