Find trains, planes & automobiles at one of the most unique & authentic railroad sites in the U.S., the N.C. Transportation Museum at Historic Spencer Shops This 60-acre site is filled with immersive exhibits & special events. Four exhibit buildings represent a rich history of different kinds of transportation including railroading, automotive, aviation, and more. PRESERVE AND INTERPRET THE HISTORY OF TRANSPORTATION IN NORTH CAROLINA AND PRESENT THIS HISTORY IN A MANNER THAT ALLOWS VISITORS TO ENJOY THEIR EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS LEARN FROM IT.
