Yesterday, District 3 Chiefs gathered at Columbus Airport Department of Public Safety for their final meeting before the Fall Conference. Key highlights included: - Training on "Strengthening Against False Allegations" - important guidance on protecting officers and agencies. - Presentation by Meredith S. Smith (GDBHD) on the launch of the 988 mental health emergency line highlighting how the system will better serve individuals in crisis. - Meet and greet with World Asian Law Enforcement Council (WALEC) representatives who shared valuable insights on building stronger relationships the Asian community. - Addresses from both GACP Chair Candidates who shared their goals and vision for the future of the association.
