| Advancing Inclusion and Sport Through Vision Care | At the 2025 Bavarian Special Olympics State Games in Erlangen, over 1,500 specially-abled athletes demonstrated extraordinary talent and determination across more than 20 sports - from athletics and football to swimming and table tennis. Alongside them, the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation continued its long-standing partnership with Special Olympics to deliver essential vision care through the “Opening Eyes” program. More than 650 athletes received care, with those in need receiving a pair of glasses before competing. For 8 in 10, it was the first time they had ever received proper eye care - a first step toward equal access in sport, in school, and beyond. We’re grateful for the support of EssilorLuxottica volunteers, whose ongoing commitment reflects a global partnership with Special Olympics that began in 2002 and continues to grow.
