You are invited to attend a Civil War Monument dedication ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. at Van Vechten Cemetery, located at 8446 Highland Drive in Kewaskum. The cemetery was established by the Van Vechten family in 1851. It was at the suggestion of Jacob T. Van Vechten, who served as town chairman and county supervisor, that the town was named Kewaskum, in honor of Chief Kewaskum, a Potawatomi Indian chief who once lived in the area. (fb)

If you have offered to donate a pie to our pie wagon, please drop it off between 8:00-10:00 a.m. on Sunday behind the Log Cabin. Please use disposable pans if possible.
