Et c'est parti ! The Federation Alliances Françaises USA @Federation of AF USA is delighted to announce that its first immersion trip in Bordeaux is off to a great start! 25 participants from 8 AF chapters in the U.S. (including 17 students in homestay) are attending morning classes at @Alliance Française Bordeaux Nouvelle Aquitaine @Cécile AF Bordeaux. In the afternoons, several activities are offered: a pâtisserie workshop, a visit to château Pape Clément for wine tasting and to the medieval village of Saint Emilion. Over the weekend, the group discovered the highest sandhill of Europe (la Dune du Pilat), the lovely city of Arcachon and ended the day with oyster tasting and a nice glass of white wine (a Bordeaux of course!). Alliance Française de Charlottesville Executive Director and FAFUSA Board member @Murielle de Wekker is leading this wonderful group of students.
