On Saturday, May 10th, a devastating accident occurred involving a lawn mower that severely injured 5-year-old Gibson Rivera Theimer. He was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, where, tragically, he lost his right foot and remains in critical condition. Gibson’s road to recovery will be long and difficult, involving extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and the eventual need for prosthetics. He has been a staple of our community cutting the hair and touching lives of many fellow men and women of all ages through his work with hair for the past 30+ years. It is with a heavy heart I reach out asking for the support of our community in helping Eddie pay for some of his recent medical bills. You may have noticed the staple blue pickup truck has not been in the barbershop parking lot recently, well that's because while he was at work last week Eddie was not feeling well. He drove himself to the E.R where they located a hemorrhagic stroke. Soon after he was airlifted to a nearby hospital for a stay in the icu.
