Celebrating and promoting the long legacy of live chamber music in our community. We present a six week summer festival in an intimate setting on the lakeshore of West Michigan in addition to educational outreach programs year-round. The Chamber Music Festival of Saugatuck, founded 31 years ago, is dedicated to keeping chamber music vibrant and alive. Our concerts are presented in an intimate atmosphere that encourages a sense of belonging and works to involve the audience as an active part of the experience. We have an active and growing education program to initiate the love of music in underserved local grade school students, summer student programs including those for migrant children, busing grade school children to Grand Rapids Symphony concerts, and an internship program for two or three college students. We are in our second year of a very successful and popular three-program master class series for advanced high school and college students coached by our performers.
