Celebrating the Day of Nutrition with a parade, costumes, handmade signs, and delicious healthy food of course!! 3 weeks ago, our staff had a meeting where we reestablished our goals & priorities. One of those was enhancing our presence in the community. Parades like this are a perfect way to be inclusive. 😁☺️ This parade was a collab between Viky, our nutritionist and her Monday afternoon nutrition program, as well as Geraldyn, our childcare coordinator. Our kids aren’t only learning math, reading, writing, & socioemotional skills. We hosted a community health campaign last Friday in our own clinic! We saw 30 people and even offered Pap smears, HPV testing & vaccines, alongside our typical services of dental, nutrition, psychology, blood analysis & general medicine.
