Honoring America’s Warriors receives major funding for our service dog program from the United States Department of Defense, administered by Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD. Compliance for the 2025 Wounded Warrior Service Dog Program is managed by the Henry M Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. Honoring America’s Warriors is in process of achieving Assistance Dog International accreditation and will be the only ADI accredited member in Oklahoma . Honoring Americas Warriors exclusive to Oklahoma is a 501c 3 nonprofit taxexempt organization dedicated to supporting our veterans physical mental health and wellness services. An allvolunteer staff provides these services through donations and grants. The mission is fulfilled by creating activities that allow these men and women to be with other veterans peer to peer who cope with the same issues on a daily basis in a nonclinical environment. Honoring Americas Warriors was established in 2014 to assist veterans families with a full funeral detail or augmented service.
