We are excited to announce our new academic initiative co-organized by HBA-USA and The Circle of Hellenic Academics in Boston. Our “Job Talk Mentoring Workshop” aims to provide a platform for career development to our members. During our inaugural session we welcomed esteemed academics Dr. Gerasimos Makrigiorgos and Dr. Ioannis Zervantoniakis, who provided feedback on a job talk by Dr. Georgios Polychronidis! Thank you all for making it such a successful event. If you are interested to practice your job talk and receive feedback by our faculty members please contact the director of our mentoring program, Dr. Charilaos Filippakis. (fb)

Connecting Hellenic Academics Our mission The Circle was founded in Boston on January 25 2014 to address the need for a disciplineindependent Forum for members of the Higher Education Community who are of Hellenic descent or have professional association with Hellenic Culture Affairs. TheCircle of Hellenic Academics in Bostonis a nonprofit Corporation serving academics of Hellenic descent or with professional association with Hellenic Culture Affairs who are currently employed or have been employed as Facultyby an Institution of Higher Education and who promote the pursuits of research education mentoring and academic excellence in their profession.
