Please visit sip. Wine Sip. wine bar on Tues. 7/29-sip is donating 10% of all eligible sales to the band, to go to the Jennifer Ketchmark-Liska Scholarship Fund at Millikin University. Dine in or carry out! Last year on July 30, 2024 we lost a dear friend, colleague and music educator. Her name is Jennifer Ketchmark-Liska, wife of Kevin Liska. Jenny was a school teacher of music and choir in the Joliet area and fellow band member. She sang and played piano in our Jazz Band and played clarinet in our community band. She graduated from Millikin University majoring in music. Millikin University has a music education scholarship fund in her honor. (fb)

Barbara Abarro ConcertBand DirectorBob Good Jazz Band DirectorEstablished 1994 The Tinley Park Community Band and Jazz Band are active yearround sharing their talents and bringing the sound of live music to Tinley Park and the surrounding communities. Established in 1987 the band has performedthroughout the Chicagoland area. Many of these concerts are free or have a very low admission fee making an afternoon or evening of live music affordable and familyfriendly. The band performs a wideranging repertoire including marches show tunes popular songs contemporary compositions and classical band literature.
