Virginia Dollar recently visited The Center for Native Health with CFWNC board members Connie Haire and Juanita Wilson. The Center has a medicinal garden for its Relational Health program that serves pregnant and new native moms at the site of the Kituwah Mound. It received a Human Services and Education award in 2024 for its medical workforce development program that pairs high school students with an interest in a medical career with college medical students. Pictured with Virginia, Connie and Juanita are: Executive Director Trey Adcock; Deputy Director Bonnie Claxton; Executive Administrator Trista Welch; and Director of MedCap Madison Leatherwood.
