Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business & Industry and the 80th anniversary of the end of World War Two (continued). This week in 1945: A national coal miners strike impacted supplies just as fall weather arrived across the US. Here in Muskegon, local wage disputes resolved at Continental Motors, Norge, Lakey, and CWC. The Tigers returned to Detroit as World Series champions. Rhapsody In Blue premiered at the Michigan Theater. The Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business & Industry is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 4pm until the end of October. Saturdays throughout October are free to Muskegon County residents. We are also hosting a Tiny Tots Trick or Treat program on 10/25!
