We are Kentucky School for the Deaf, the statewide resource center on deafness. The Kentucky School for the Deaf ensures that deaf and hard of hearing children and youth in Kentucky have educational opportunities to develop their potential to become educated, life-long learners and productive citizens. The Kentucky School for the Deaf Charitable Foundation was established in 1986 to enhance the educational opportunities of deaf and hard of hearing students enrolled at the Kentucky School for the Deaf and regional deaf programs affiliated with KSD by: prudently investing the assets andspending proceeds from investments in ways that make the educational experiences for deaf students at KSD and regional deaf programs affiliated with KSD as valuable as possible.
