Our Foundation The North Carolina Community Colleges Foundation is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization founded in 1986 to support the mission of the NC Community College System. Championing more community economic and workforce development value for the state of North Carolina. What we do The Foundation stewards the endowment manages several scholarships and awards that honor excellence raises awareness and funds to advance the Systems impact and supports publicprivate partnership programs that spark innovation. Where we are going The Foundation is engaged in a strategic planning process that will culminate in a comprehensive campaign to drive more student college employer and system success and deliver more community economic and workforce development value for the state.
