The demand for more passenger rail is clear. "Officials said that since the line's inception, ridership has exceeded even Amtrak's expectations, reaching 100,000 riders in just five months. The route carried about 300 passengers per train, both ways, on each trip, according to Amtrak." KARE 11 (fb)

Citizen advocacy groups like All Aboard Minnesota have been successful in other parts of North America to get more rail service and we will be too.
