FAIR SHAKE WORKS TO PROVIDE EQUAL ACCESS TO ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE FOR PEOPLE COMMUNITIES Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services is a 501c3 nonprofit law firm that believes all people and communities should have access to the tools of change and that everyone has the right to make decisions about the air water and land where they live work and play. LEGAL SERVICES REPRESENTATION We provide probono and sliding scale legal services and representation to individuals families and organizations in the environmental legal services gap. We represent traditionally underserved clients who are directly affected by environmental harms and empower legal action despite our clients economic means. COMMUNITY DEMOCRACY EDUCATION We provide educational technical and legal assistance to communities seeking to implement policy and process change in their localities for environmental justice outcomes.
