“My youngest son, Jake, was diagnosed with a rare syndrome when he was 2 months old, which primarily affected his liver. He was blessed with a lifesaving liver transplant when he was 4 years old. We will be forever grateful for the donor and staff at the hospital who saved our boy. He lives life to the fullest every day! He is currently a sophomore in high school. He recently got his driver's license and is on cloud nine to be driving on his own. He enjoys sports, is extremely fast on the basketball court and enjoys duck and goose hunting with friends. He is a member of 4H, and in July, you can find him at the fair showing the pigs he raised and having a blast with his friends. Fair week is by far his favorite week of the year!
