On June 26, 2025, Mohamad proudly became a U.S. citizen in Kansas City, MO. He reflects on the challenges and determination that carried him through the past 10 years, and offers heartfelt advice for others pursuing the path to citizenship. The interview closes with a moving poem he wrote in his native language.
