HAPPY NATIONAL NON-PROFIT DAY Today we celebrate the work we've accomplished and all of the work we have ahead to protect wild ecosystems around the world. And we thank all of the volunteers, family members, and friends that have helped propel our mission along the way. We're currently working on a transition that'll help us better serve the landscapes and biodiversity we work to protect and are excited to keep fighting for remote wildernesses close to home and in the far off corners of the world. Creating Protected Areas for the Conservation of Biodiversity OUR MISSION Wild Ecosystems Conservation Initiative works to conserve biodiversityrestore wildlands and ensure in perpetuity the ecological processes of native ecosystems. Through the protection of large landscapes restoration of degraded habitat and rewilding of natural ecosystems we work to preserve the planet for all species. OUR VISION Our vision is rooted in protecting wilderness and wildlife prioritizing the expansion of terrestrial and marine protected areas for the conservation of biodiversity. We see the loss of biodiversity as the greatest crisis of our time and work to protect large connected wild landscapes restoring all native plant and animal species.
