There's hope in the ruins. Though South Sudan is marked by war and loss, we see that hope is still rising. And, areas such as Malakal aren’t just surviving, they are being transformed by Jesus. 🙌🏾 At Salvation Baptist Church in Malakal, over 270 people gathered in the heart of a community that’s seen too much pain. As 13 got baptized and chose to follow Jesus others stayed to witness. They didn't stay for food or shelter, but for discipleship; hungry to grow, to learn, to lead. God is doing something deep here.
