A new school year brings changes to your routine. Learn the questions to ask child care providers and youth group organizations to keep your child safe from sexual predators. Take our free, virtual Stewards of Children sexual abuse prevention course. This 2.5 hour course is offered twice this month: Wed., Aug. 6 12:00-2:30 pm and Sat., Aug. 16, 9-11:30 am. HELPING VICTIMS BECOME CHILDREN AGAIN Helping victims become children again. INTERVIEWS CLINICAL EXAMS Our child interviewers are trained to interview kids in a developmentally appropriate way that holds up in court. Our partner agency the Shelby County Crime Victims and Rape Crisis Center provides medical assessment and evidence collection if needed. CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES Investigators from our partner agency the Tennessee Department of Childrens Services DCS work to strengthen families and protect kids from abuse and neglect.
