Earlier this month, Farmers for Free Trade hosted a harvest listening session in Earlham. The harvest listening session had a farmer panel who shared insights into the importance of international trade, increased markets and the farm economy. Ryan Steffensen, Iowa Corn District 4 Promotion Board Director joined the panel along with American Soybean Association Director Morey Hill, and Farmers for Free Trade President and Iowa Corn Growers Association Member, Bob Hemesath served as the panel moderator. Congressman Zach Nunn also joined the panel and gave a policy update and perspective on #E15, trade agreements and new markets. Thank you, to Farmers for Free Trade for spending a week in Iowa helping educate farmers and consumers about the importance of market access and trade.
