The NDSM community joined School Sisters of Notre Dame around the world in celebrating Foundation Day, honoring the day, 191 years ago on October 24, when Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger founded the congregation in Bavaria, Germany. Our students, staff, and sisters came together for an all-school Mass to give thanks for the mission and legacy of the School Sisters of Notre Dame. We are proud to be a sponsored ministry of the SSND and grateful to continue their work of transforming the world through education. 💛 After a beautiful mass we ended the morning by decorating bookmarks with our buddies and enjoying a sweet treat in honor of Blessed Theresa! 🍦 (fb)
