The 2025 Hisham Sharabi Memorial Lecture honors the vision and intellectual legacy of Dr. Hisham Sharabi, whose work as a scholar, activist, and founder continues to shape Arab studies and advocacy today. This year, as the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS) at Georgetown University, founded by Sharabi and his colleagues, marks its 50th anniversary, we are proud to partner with CCAS to reflect on that enduring impact.
