A small non-profit founded in 1952 that services individuals birth through the life span and their families in the IDD community. The Council on Developmental Disabilities provides education and empowerment through experiences TO INITIATE POSITIVE CHANGE ON BEHALF OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES BY VOICING THEIR NEEDS TO THE COMMUNITY, CREATING NEW CHOICES FOR LIVING, LEARNING, AND PARTICIPATION, AND ENSURING THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF LIFE POSSIBLE.
