Special Equestrians provides therapeutic horseback riding for individuals with physical, mental, developmental, and behavioral disabilities. Therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted activities for individuals with disabilities. We have recently adopted a new Vision and Mission Statement. Our vision; A community where the impossible becomes possible. Our Mission; Enriching the lives of people with physical, cognitive or emotional challenges through a relationship with a horse. These new statements reflect our hopes and dreams for our participants. We see the impossible become possible when a person who cannot walk is given the freedom from their wheelchair to walk in the woods on their trusty steed! We see the relationship with a horse give our participants power to overcome fears, build confidence, and self-esteem.
