Mission The National Coalition for Mental Health Recovery NCMHR will ensure that consumersurvivors have a major voice in the development and implementation of health care mental health and social policies at the state and national levels empowering people to recover and lead a full life in the community. Since its founding in 2006 the National Coalition for Mental Health Recovery NCMHR has worked to counter the abuses of power and systems of oppression embedded in the mental health system. NCMHR opposes racism sexism ableism ageism mentalism heterosexism cissexism and every other prejudice. We believe that authentic human connectionembracing crosscultural multiracial and nonbinary alliancesis the portal to a more truthful just compassionate and liberated society.
