During Echoes of Emancipation: A Juneteenth Celebration, we had the joy of honoring one of our very own Kofa Kids with the newly stated Kethree Davis Forward Fund scholarship! Lauren Philpott, a 2025 graduate of Kinder HSPVA’s Theatre Department and a cherished mentee of our Artistic Director, has graced our stage in If Only For One Night, Back to the 90s, and The Three Musketeers. When she’s not on stage, she and her family have helped us put on the productions y’all know and love. She’s heading to SCAD to pursue a degree in Sound Design, and we know she’ll make the “noise” that’ll shake the world. Congrats, Lauren — your future is as bright as a Texas summer day! (fb)
